Massage with conscious awareness enables deep healing and transformation. My intention is to foster a safe and trusting relationship to support and assist a person to breathe and release patterns of trauma and or structural misalignment.
My interest is in the energy of the body and the release triggers that can enable a space for change. My studies have transported me from rolfing, myo fascial release, to energy and polarity therapy. I have an understanding of cranial sacral therapy and am available for consultations Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.
Price $85 per hour - Health Fund accredited

Yoga has been apart of my life since my early 20's and an invaluable aid in my recovery from a serious spinal injury. I studied with Dr swami Gitananda and encourage and support my students to understand and value the breath as an integral part of a yoga practice. I have a passion for encouraging conscious awareness to stimulate the mind body complex for healing and wellbeing. My specialty is structural alignment and pranayama. I am a keen traveller and a lover of places of natural beauty, art, dance and music.
In 1998 I went to India and fell in Love with Yoga. It continues to provide me with effective tools with which to nourish my body, mind and spirit. I teach a Classical style of Hatha Yoga, I encourage students to cultivate their awareness through careful attention to the breath and the spaces in between. As a student myself, the more I delve into the mystery of Yoga, the more I am illuminated and humbled by its Grace and Wisdom. I am forever grateful for that spark.
Karen Finck has been practicing yoga since 1989 and teaching since 1997. Karen is a Level 3 certified teacher, a member of the Australian Yoga Teachers Association and Iyengar Yoga Teachers Association. Karen completed 500hr teacher training with the Yoga teachers network and Iyengar training with Peter Scott one of Australia's most senior Iyengar Yoga teachers.
Karen is a dedicated yoga practitioner who regularly attends workshops with leading teachers from around the world and Australia, she also teaches international workshops with her own unique style and knowledge. Karen has studied different lineages of yoga and sees all yoga as one without fragmentation. Karen believes yoga works through the heart as it is for healing, to help people to remove the blockages that harden the heart, mind and body that may eventually lead to sickness. Yoga helps the individual to embody their spirit and not to go through life fragmented. She also holds a diploma in Traditional Thai massage, the alignment and stretching involved is very complementary to Yoga. Karen is qualified in Physiotherapy Assistance Cert 4, also trained in Reiki and Spiritual Healing
I began yoga in my early twenties attending Iyengar classes in Edinburgh and Washington DC. After moving to Bellingen and experiencing chronic back pain following the birth of my 3 children, yoga truly became a part of my life. Yoga for me is a continually evolving journey that brings stability of body, mind and spirit. During practice, my focus is on awareness of alignment and the breath and the sense of well-being this generates. I am a regular practitioner of yoga and am currently completing RYT350 Yoga Teacher training in Classical Hatha Yoga through the Australasian Yoga Institute.
